The 9 Most Likely Names for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's Second Child, Ranked

What's in a nepo baby name?

You probably didn't know it. We surely did not. But you felt... something. A seismic universal shift. A change in space and time that could only result from one impetus: two of our most beloved celebrities combining their reproductive powers and welcoming a new life into this world.

Finally, that phenomenon has been explained. According to TMZ, Robyn Rihanna Fenty and Rakim Mayers (A$AP Rocky) celebrated the arrival of thier secondborn child earlier this month, on Aug. 3. While the child's name and gender have not been confirmed, reports indicate that just like their eldest child, RZA, the newest addition to the family is also a boy who dons a name that begins with the 18th letter.

These reports, while exciting, have inevitably got folks speculating on how this power couple named its newborn. While we don't have any concrete answers as to what the baby's name is—we been blowing up Rocky and Rih's pagers, but no callback—we've got what we'd like to consider some, ahem, educated guesses. Don't sweat the technique.

9. Rihanna/Robyn/Rocky (Tie)

Seems like there's an unwritten rule when it comes to the children of music's A-listers: They're not named after their parents. From Blue Ivy Carter to North West to Willow Smith, these kids are out here donning vanity, often highly trademarkable names independent of their moms and pops. So we're not banking on Rocky and Rihanna having a junior—but thanks to the R, there's always a possibility!

6. Rakim

Here's an exception to the previously stated rule. Rakim Jr. has a ring to it! Plus, even though it's Rocky's given name, he was already named after the God MC himself, Rakim Allah. Maybe Rihanna's bundle of joy will follow the leader, let the rhythm hit 'em, and, ultimately, keep the tradition going.

5. Eric B.

What better way to honor hip-hop's 50th anniversary than by reuniting Eric B. and Rakim once again?

4. Reggie

"Doc, da name is Reggie." Haha. That's a joke. Did you get it? It's about Redman. All puns aside, Reggie would be quite a noble name for the youngster. (Whoops!)

3. Michael

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever. Would they do it? Would they name their second child Michael Mayers?

2. Remy

Sure, it's similar to Jay-Z and Beyoncé's youngest, Rumi. But it is gender-neutral, and a nod to one of the nicest rappers the world has ever heard (who hails from just north of Rocky's Harlem streets). Ante up—jack that name!

1. Raekwon

There are only three appropriate Wu-Tang names to name a child, and Rih/Rocky have already chosen one. Let's see if they keep this trend rolling! Only Built 4 Nepo Kids!
